  1. Depends on what you are looking for. In terms of a nice place to eat / grab a drink check out The Laurrapin right downtown on Washington St.

If you want a good chowhound type of place, check out Fast Eddies off of 22 in Aberdeen. I'll put that place up as my favorite pit beef stand in the state. Don't expect much for atmosphere, but the pit beef is fantastic.

    1. I recently met a friend from Philadelphia in HDG, because it was halfway, and we enjoyed cheap but tasty eats at Quiros Burritos.

I've also met the same friend at Torino's in Bel Air -- it's a sports bar, with pretty decent food (and a good deal for us as we were looking for a place to watch out-of-market NFL games).

      1. The Laurrapin Grille has a great atmosphere, an eclectic menu, and is fairly priced. It has a great hip vibe. For something a little low key I would go to the Bayou. It has great specials, the most attentive staff I have ever encountered, and the seafood is FRESH!
