Dinner for 15 in Las Vegas

Help me avoid going to Lawry's for dinner in Las Vegas. I need a place that will accommodate a group of 15, not necessarily picky eaters. Ideally in the $40-50 per person price range not including drinks. Downtown/Strip areas preferred. Thanks!

  1. 2 chains w/imo decent food and both in Fashion Show Mall: Maggianos and Café Ba Ba Reeba. Maggianos is adequate family style Italian food (I used to LOVE the spaghetti w/meat sauce at the original Chicago spot) while Café Ba Ba Reeba is tapas. Although I prefer Café Ba Ba Reeba I am happy going to either place. One thing that both places allow is to order off regular menu while other restaurants that allow larger parties tend to make you order from preset menus.

    1. If it'll help your argument, you might have a hard time getting out of Lawry's in that price range. I think LVI's suggestion of Ba Ba Reeba is a great one. It fits your price range well and there are plenty of nooks and semi-private spaces. It's upbeat and fun and if you don't like something, pass it on to your friends.

      1. Mon Ami Gabi at Paris has private and semi private rooms. Plus, it should fit your budget.

I am a huge fan of sitting on the patio at Mon Ami Gabi and really enjoy their food. I would check with the restaurant about the availability of ordering off the menu (when I checked for a group of 10 a year ago I was rebuffed when requesting a full menu from which to order. Given the current economic malaise, they may be willing to do such.). Also, it has been my experience that MAG loses a bit of its luster when sitting inside. As far as the $40-$50 range, w/o taxes or tips, u will be at the $50 level.
