Where is the best place to get bbq pork buns in the I.d. Seattle

According to the official I.D. website, there are over 10 different bakeries ... which one has the best pork buns?

  1. Jade Garden has some good ones for dim sum, I just had a tasty pork bun from Sun bakery on Jackson.

    1. I like Mee Sum, but it's at Pike Place

Me too. I don't know if they're the best I've had in Seattle, but they sure taste good while walking through the market.

Yes, yes, yes... I'm surprised that nobody on the Neighborhood Farmer's Market circuit has copped to the simple beauty of the Bao (you heard it here first).

I didn't realize there was a place at Pike. That certainly is more convenient for me

Right there on the East side of Pike Place, just North of Jack's Fish Spot. You'll count this a lucky day.

        3. My favorite has traditionally been at the Tai Tung. They are not available after lunch. They are bigger than those available at the dim sum places.

Really? I've read some pretty bad reviews on that place.

I didn't know they sold anything that didn't have an orange glaze/sauce on it.

I cannot say that I enjoy anything else there. I've only eaten there once and it wasn't very good for the other items. But this is where my parents went on their first date somewhere around 69-70 and it is where we always grabbed ours. I think they stack up to the other ones around town for sure.
