Dining near Westin Philadelphia

I will be staying at the Westin Philadelphia for one night, and dining alone. I would appreciate any recommendations near the hotel for a single diner. I am not looking for fine dining, but it can be a nice restaurant or a dive. I would just like to get the best meal I can, and prefer something local -- even a good philly cheese steak place will suffice.

Nodding Head Brew Pub is just a couple block away on Sansom St and of course, matyson is just down the street as well. Davio's steakhouse is within spitting distance just down the block on the corner

The best burger in the city can be found at the Good Dog Bar, which is near the Westin. Parc is also not far from there and is very comfortable with good french bistro food. If I were you I'd go to Tinto (20th and Sansom), you can have a great meal at the bar there and directly across the street is Capogiro, the best gelateria in the city and a place every visitor to our city should go at least once during their stay.

Yes, Tinto and Capogiro would be a really great evening. An alternate if you don't want to go as fancy/pay as much as Tinto is Tria, a beer/cheese/wine cafe with great food, on 18th. THank you.
