where to buy Duck Confit and duck fat in DC NOVA?

Can anyone recommd a gourmet store (preferably up 270, but doesn't have to be) where I can buy Duck confit and duck fat? Trying out cassoulet this weekend and would like to make it as authentically as possible.

Balducci's stocks both duck fat and confit. They also carry Moulard duck legs which are ideal for making your own confit. Once you start making confit, it's easy because you end up with more duck fat than you started with. And you always have a good supply of confit on hand.

As for the cassoulet, be certain you use real Tarbais beans.

I believe Wegmans carries both from the D'Artagnan brand. However, I was at Costco yesterday and they had cryovac'ed duck confit in the refrigerator case. It didn't look bad at all.

You can get duck fat at the little grocery store (not Magruders or the Organic Place) in the shopping plaza at the Cleveland Park metro. They also have fresh duck breast, veal demi glace, chorizo and andouille sausage.
