Posts not showing up

I'm having a problem getting all of the recent posts each day. I didn't realize that I was missing posts, until I posted. Last week, I posted and it never showed up. I assumed that I might have forgotten to click on POST MY REPLY because I was in a hurry. This morning, a few hours ago, I posted about something else and that topic hasn't been put at the top showing a current post. My new post is there but the topic is buried as it hasn't been posted to, prior to my post today, for at least a month. I assume that this had been a problem with other topics because a few weeks ago, it seems that very few posts are being made on this Board whereas for months/years prior, there were lots every day. Anyone else having this problem?.

I'm not quite sure I follow the problem you're having, but it seems like it might be one of two things:

1. The posting lag problem -- it sometimes takes 20 minutes or half an hour for posts to show up in various places on the site. It might appear in your all activity section, but the post the might not be on the actual thread when you go to read it, for example.

2. That you've changed the sort order of the board from last update to date started. There's a sort order option at the top of the right hand column on the board index. If you've switched it accidentally, you might need to switch it back.

If neither of those is the case, I'm going to need some specific examples of threads you've posted on where the replies aren't showing up.

I never noticed the sort order and must have accidently changed it. I just changed it back and now I'm getting all the recent posts. I have a lot of catch up reading to do! Thanks.

It's back. After the maintenance tonight, I've had two instances of posts lag. That is, a new post to a thread id'd on the message board doesn't show up when I open the thread.
