Any suggestions for excellent Asian food in Reading area? I will be in the area for dinner and do not know the local restaurants. Thanks!

I agree with the rec for Sushi Island in Wakefield Center. I would put it up against any of the Japanese places in Boston except of course the high-end spots like O-Ya or Uni. If you were willing to travel up to Lowell I would strongly suggest you try a Cambodian place called Tepthida Khmer. I eat there at least once a week and it is excellent. Very authentic food and the atmosphere is quite nice too/

I really like the Duck Walk in Wakefield Center for Thai food and an excellent wine list (really!). Although I haven't been, Sushi Island which is right next to it, gets consistently praised on this board. You could park, look at both menus and pick your favorite.

I've hear Mandarin, by 95, is good American style Chinese. They have a Japanese side to the menu as well. That scares me a little. If you want the real thing, head down 128 a little farther to exit 35, head towards Woburn, and about 50 yards on your right is the yellow house (mansion) that houses Sichuan Gourmet.
