Suggestions for excellent Thai or Asian place in Reading?

Any suggestions for excellent Asian food in Reading area? I will be in the area for dinner and do not know the local restaurants. Thanks!

  1. I've hear Mandarin, by 95, is good American style Chinese. They have a Japanese side to the menu as well. That scares me a little. If you want the real thing, head down 128 a little farther to exit 35, head towards Woburn, and about 50 yards on your right is the yellow house (mansion) that houses Sichuan Gourmet.

    1. I really like the Duck Walk in Wakefield Center for Thai food and an excellent wine list (really!). Although I haven't been, Sushi Island which is right next to it, gets consistently praised on this board. You could park, look at both menus and pick your favorite.

      1. I agree with the rec for Sushi Island in Wakefield Center. I would put it up against any of the Japanese places in Boston except of course the high-end spots like O-Ya or Uni. If you were willing to travel up to Lowell I would strongly suggest you try a Cambodian place called Tepthida Khmer. I eat there at least once a week and it is excellent. Very authentic food and the atmosphere is quite nice too/
