Bridal Luncheon in San Antonio--ideas?

annadrc Feb 7, 2009 04:34 PM

Hello all!

I am planning a bridal luncheon in San Antonio. I would love some ideas on nice and elegant places, eclectic and fun will work, too. The bride seems rather indifferent as to type of food and/or atmosphere. I've thought about a hotel or restaurant on the river, but would like to do something a little different. We'll have around 20 in our party.
Thanks for any suggestions/ideas!

La Fogata on Vance Jackson is a beautiful place inside and out. The outdoor garden dining area is stunning. The food is some of the best Mexican food I've had anywhere, with a lot of dishes that aren't your standard boring Tex-Mex. Awesome margaritas too, and served garnished with a flower.

La Hacienda de los Barrios is pretty nice for what you are looking for, you can google their web page read their menu and see pics....

You could rent the Lone Star Palace at Hyatt Regency and sit out on the patio, it has a wonderful view of the Alamo.

Check out Brasserie Pavile. It's on 1604 and Huebner behind Wild Fish Grill. Great room, outstanding food and very good service. Not a bar scene like Wild Fish. They have a small private room as well.
