Help! Dinner with pre-teens near Central Square?

Going to a show in Central Square with 3 pre-teens on a Saturday night and need a restaurant recommendation for afterward. I know Rendezvous, Central Kitchen and Green Street Grill are great but the menu is a bit too advanced for the kids. Parents are chowhounds but kids are not quite there yet so simple roast chicken, salmon, steak options would be great....or an optional kid menu. Any ideas?

  1. I'd suggest ZuZu's as they have kabobs, rice pilaf, etc and a great vibe or Miracle of Science for a menu that includes kabobs, burgers etc or Azgard with a safe menu in a well run restaurant, clean & friendly or Toscanini's or a few blocks down River st River Gods or further down Basta Pasta.

basta pasta if they like italian or pizza, mary chung for chinese

    2. Eat at the bar at Craigie on Main......great burgers for "the kids" and plenty of options for you.....

Green Street does have a burger and mac and cheese on its menu, and I think it's a more approachable (and less pricey) place for kids than Craigie. I like the Miracle of Science suggestion.

      2. Four burgers?
