Does anyone know what banoffe (sp?) is?...a sweet dessert...

First off, thanks for all the help on my previous posts...never seem to get back to anyone who gives great suggestions - but I'm really forgetful, so thanks!

Now, a long time ago bf lived in England and had a desert called banoffe that was some sort of banana/toffee thing? He speaks so highly of it and I can't seem to find it anywhere...but then again, I don't really know what I'm looking for. Wanted to surprise him with it...

Any thoughts? Thanks!

        Banana and toffee - or butterschotch in either pie, or ice cream sundae or bars.
