I've been going to the Granit for many years. As mentioned they have a very nice crowd - a lot of repeat business, which says something. The food is good, and the portions are generous, but the food is not the most creative - especially when you consider it's gebrochts. They could stand to put some work into the side dishes in particular. No buffet meals - waiter service even for breakfast - which I prefer to the shoving at a buffet. All in all a good choice for Pesach.

Although I haven't been to the Granite in quite a few years, we spent many Pesachs there before that. It's still run by the same people - the Hochdorfs. The food was excellent and plentiful. They always had a really nice crowd - a nice combination of modern orthodox and black hat. It is one of the few hotels in the New York areas that serve Gebrochts.
