  1. Langer's Deli has crinkle cut fries. The best I can recall having in LA. That may just be because they're the only crinkle cut fries I can recall having in LA. Anyway they are crinkle cut, fresh fried and decent. If you haven't been to Langer's ,there's your reason to go. If You need another reason- Definitely the Best pastrami sandwich in LA.

Hey ilikefood- Thanks! I can't wait to try them.

My #1 favorite 'Crinkle cut Fries' (so far) are at 'Johnnie's Pastrami
in Culver City. If I'm in a rush, Del Tacos c/c fries will hit the spot! LOL

If you are near Culver City get your self to George's Coffee shop on Sepulveda where Jefferson merges with it. They are fluffy in the middle and not too overdone on the outside and really cheap. Just $1 on the side with a sandwich. Plus most of the stuff there is decent and won't break the bank. You will get out o there for under $10 without a sweat which I cannot say for Johnnie's.

        George's Coffee Shop
5439 Sepulveda Blvd, Culver City, CA 90230

OOhh.. Johnnie's is good at fried stuff apparently. They have the BEST onion rings--I will try their crinkle cut fries next time.

I LOVE Del Taco's Crinkle cut fries too!

            2. re: ilikefood

Langers was the first I thought of, and Del Taco

              1. re: ilikefood

dont know how anyone can say Langer's fries are the best...i almost ordered extra cole slaw instead of those awful, under cooked potatoes

                1. re: lapizzamaven

I don't always order fries at Langer's, but when I do, I order them well done.

Kidding aside, I wouldn't call them the best, but I think they're pretty good when cooked crispy. I'm not a crinkle cut aficionado, so my experience is pretty much limited to Langer's and Del Taco.

Growing up in NYC and having "dined" at Nathan's(by the way, great new "doc" out called "Famous Nathan), i Know of great crinkle cut fries and id be shocked if Langer's could ever be described like that...But, OCSteve, thanks for the tip, I will give them a try again but ask for "well done."

              2. Sam's Philly Steak Depot not only has an amazing cheesesteak, but they also do a great crinkle fry. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.

18966 Ventura Blvd (at topeka, just west of Wilbur)

Jen, do they do a chicken cheesesteak as well?

                  1. re: GK in SO

Yes they do. I've not had it, though.

                2. B-man's in San Marino (corner of Huntinton Dr & San Gabriel Bl) has pretty good fries. Add a side of teriyaki sauce and its delish!!!

dietgrace, I thought I was the only one that likes that place. Well, at least the fries.

                  2. I know this is an old post but. Ricks Burgers in uptown Whittier has some good crinkle cut fries. Can't say the same for the rest of there food though.

                    1. Pretty good ones (and a lot) at Super Burger in Pasadena.
