Cupcake delivery in Richmond, VA?

AnjLM Feb 5, 2009 12:49 PM

My boyfriend lives in Richmond, VA while I live in Boston so I won't be with him on Valentine's Day. I'm thinking of maybe having cupcakes delivered to him as a little Valentine's day treat. Anyone know of a good place that will deliver cupcakes? Although price is not a huge limiting factor I'd prefer something on the less expensive side since I am in medical school. Thank you!

I don't know if she does cupcakes, but I can vouch for Christie - I used to work with her.

I'm sure some of the bakeries would do it, but I bet it would be $$$.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll definitely keep it in mind for the future. I ended up having Piccola's deliver a heart shaped pizza!

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. For future reference you might consider Two Sweet as well.

Their cupcakes look great! I'm going to visit my bf soon in Richmond so I'll have to stop by there to try some cupcakes! Thanks for the suggestion.

i have found (personally) that some are significantly better than others but the place is adorable and i think the key lime and red velvet are fabulous!

I thought the key lime and red velvet were outstanding as well as the salted carmel. Dh likes the banana cream. And yes, the place is adorable! I've been giving them for gifts and everyone gets excited :-)

i think the salted caramel are pretty good. i've heard the banana cream are great but i've never been on the right day. i'm glad to see them doing well!
i don't like a lot of their "regular" ones. too dense and too sweet for me - but don't doubt they're well made. and unfortunately they haven't been a hit with any of the kids i've given them too so they aren't the perfect kid fix - although i still haven't tried some of the specialty ones like the dirt/worms one.

but i have dreams about the other two i mentioned before. i think i need a red velvet pretty soon. hmmm.... :)
