Any place like DiBruno or Chestnut Hill Cheese out in Montgomery county?

Looking for a store that primarily sells cheeses and cured meats-and olives?? out in Souderton/Harleysville area. Have exhausted the cheese selection at Hennings. I know Chestnut Hill isn't that far away but I hate looking for a place to park.

  1. Not next door but closer than CH, have you tried Taste of Italy in Springhouse on Bethlehem Pike?

    1. Actually, no I forgot about that place- its across the street-ish from the drafting room?

        yes

      2. There is Pleanty of FREE PARKING in Chestnut Hill now! Nine Lots to be exact.

        1. A Touch of the Old Country in Ambler has a nice selection of cheese and other italian items. It is small, not as big selection as DiBruno Bros, but a nice selection for a local spot.

          1. There is Tallutos (Sp?) in West Norriton...just off Germantown Pike. Small store...but they have a decent selection of cheese.

            1. Not Montgomery County but...Altomonte's Italian Market (there are 2: one in Warminster and one in Doylestown) has an excellent variety of cheeses, cured Italian meats, olives, and so on. Also wonderful bakery, deli, fresh meat, frozen prepared entrees (their own make). Right down County Line Road to York Road in Warminster. their web site is www.altomontes.com

              1. Although not a cheese shop per se, Hendricks Dairy in Telford had all of its cheeses on sale yesterday for $12/lb, which is a pretty darn good price for excellent cheese.

                1. Unfortunately the cheese shop in Phoenixville closed. However, there is a Wegman's opening up in Oct 09 in Collegeville (hopefully).

                  1. Keep an eye on Skippack. Something's in the works.
