Options in Lancaster County?

We're off for a spa vacation in Amish Country in Intercouse, near the city of Lancaster. Does anyone know of any good restaurants in the area? Are there other choices other than places that have the words farm, family, or buffet in their title? (Not that there's anything wrong with that!). Thanks in advance!

The Horse Inn has been around a long time (it's not a farm-type place), the Press Room, Lancaster Dispensing Co., Stockyard Inn (also not a farm-type place, just near the old stockyards).

The Belvedere Inn - N. Queen St. Lancaster, John J Jefferies at The Lancaster Arts Hotel, GUSTO down the street from the Belvedere. The Fenz Restaurant. The Belvedere has a nice dining room and bar downstairs and then a piano and jazz bar area upstairs.

I would recommend any of the places listed above along with Effie Ophelia. They are all in Lancaster City - which is where you are most likely to find good food. Another choice would be to stay out in country side and go to Mazzi.

What is your group like and what are you looking for? The Belvedere (esp. upstairs) and Fenz are perfect for a fun girls night out with great cocktails. The other places are a bit more about the food. Haven't been to Gusto yet - have reservations for tomorrow and can't wait.

I'd suggest posting this on the Pennsylvania board. Also, check for recent posts on that board regarding the same question.
