So I got my morning joe and reached into the Splenda bin to get my usual 5 packs. Out came these things called Nevella. What is it, and where is my Splenda?

It's a no calorie sweetener. Maybe you should ask the people at the coffee shop where your Splenda is.

Did you notice any difference in the taste? I'm not much of a coffee drinker, and I rarely use sugar in anything, does the taste compare to Splenda?

I simply Googled it and found it is sucralose, jsut as Spelnda is. I imagine the packet would have had the ingredient listed too. Just sayin'.

From their website (http://www.nevella.com/):
Nevella® Brand - No Calorie Sweetener

Nevella® is a sucralose-based sweetener that is made from sugar, suitable for people with diabetes or those who are looking for a healthier choice in sweetening their favorite
foods and drinks.

This quality no calorie sweetener allows you to "Keep the Taste, Not the Calories". Nevella's® ability to maintain its sweetness during cooking and baking makes it a great alternative to other sweeteners.

Sounds like a Splenda-alike to me. It's sucralose and maltodextrin, just like Splenda.
