Children's Cooking Television Shows...
Do any of you know of a cooking show for kids that airs on television? I am familiar with some online ones, but I am interested in ones that are actually broadcast.
Thanks!

KRCB, a PBS station in Sonoma County, runs kids' cooking shows on Sat from 4:30 to 6:00PM -- however, for the next few weeks they will be running pledge week programming:

Funny you should say that, rockycat. My girls (9 & 5) could watch food network all day long. Right now they're watching Ellie Krieger make some french toast that's stuffed with ricotta, sliced strawberries, and a few chocolate chips, then topped with strawberries. They've just announced they're making it tomorrow for breakfast!

If you don't mind my asking, why do you need specifically a children's show? I'm sure that my very early exposure to the PBS greats, especially Julia, went a long way toward sparking my interest in cooking. I know I didn't understand half of what was going on but what greater early childhood cooking teacher could their be than dear, dear Julia?

It isn't in the current lineup, but 'Chefs A Field, Kids on the Farm' might be viewed as a kids cooking show

http://www.createtv.com/CreateTV.nsf/...Some of these cooks have episodes with their kids. I've seen them on Lidia's. R Bayless's (teenage?) daughter fits well on his shows. Jacques Pepine has cooked with Caludine, both when she was a teen, and some recently (he's now a doting grandfather).
