Another Peruvian chicken restaurant in Charlotte?

billyjack Feb 3, 2009 09:15 PM

Saw a sign for "Genaro's Peruvian Chicken" or something on Park Rd. Park-51 area between Tin Tin and the new Park Place diner. I think its where Blockbuster used to be.

Anyway, they keep popping up. Is Peruvian chicken the new tapas? Nothing against this fine ethnic cuisine, but it wasn't a couple of years ago that this was an unknown food. Now we have more P.C. joints than Korean restaurants!

The food here is really good. Unfortunately we have never dined in because there is absolutely no ambiance whatsoever. Very small and very very bright.
I'm looking forward to what they will offer in new location.
This is another one of those " if ya don't know , ya wont go" so I'm glad to see it getting some buzz.

They have changed their decor and lighting for the better at original location on 74. Happy to report the food is still GOOD! It's been a good while since we had been here.
It has much more of a restaurant feel to it now compared to when we first found out about it. Great Tres Leches.
