First off....just wondering if I need to make reservations for lunch as well as dinner?

I will be in Paris Sat, Sun, Mon and Tues nights (leaving Wed morning) We are arriving around 2:00pm on Sat afternoon and will be staying at Le Saint Beuve near the Luxemborg Gardens.

**My issue is that I dont eat the typical French meats like Duck, Veal, PIgeon, Frog, Goose...fish etc. I am looking for places with good vegetarian options or chicken options but I loooooooove french food and still want good authentic dishes in authentic parisian atmospheres.

Price: I dont mind having a couple meals that are around $75 per person but I would like to keep most the lunches around $15-35 per person if possible and a couple of the dinners $25-$45 per person if possible.

I would greatly appreciate any input I can get. Thank you in advance for your help!

Welcome. You need to make reservations. There is chicken on almost all menus, best thing is to check in advance -- call and ask.

75$ is like 50€ -- does give you access to a meal at one of the good bistronomiques if you're careful (e.g. La Régalade, l'Ami Jean, Christophe, l'AOC, Le Sévero...).

For lunches you're probably better off grabbing a sandwich from one of the many good bakeries in town, maybe sit somewhere with a coffee. You have to be careful if you want to stay in budget.

Budget favorites are mostly more or less ethnic, include l'As du Falafel, Pho 14, Likafo and sandwich chains such as Bert's, Class'croute and Toastissimo.

Eating cheap in Paris is eating home.
