cake wrecks

this is a funny site. I wouldn't normally post a link but there are no ways to show the many pictures here. The site isn't that well laid out but if you play around there are many hilarious cakes. Be careful how you order your cake from the bakery!!

and you thought kfc's "double down" was bad!

      2. The first time I was pointed to this site my face hurt for 3 days I was laughing so hard.

Take some time and get a good look. There is some truly appalling stuff there.

The "Happy Falker Sautherhood" cake (and accompanying video) is priceless.

I can't get over the number of people who think fetal cakes are a good idea--in any shape or form.

          1. re: chowser

Agreed. Poor execution is one thing. Some are just plain wrong from conception on. No pun intended.

Yeah. NYC 10/7. I'm going with a baker friend. Should be a hoot.

        2. some of these halloween cakes are hilarious (as usual).

check out the angry roll of toilet paper! http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/2009/1...

thank you cakewrecks, you ALWAYS make me smile (or...more often, literally laugh out loud)!

There are too many candidates, but a top ten would have to include the life-size dead Lenin - anyone for a slice of eyebrow?

                        1. So has anyone seen any photos online of the wreck of an airline cake from "Last Restaurant Standing" last week? I have a friend who wrecked her son's birthday cake and I want to console her with a "professional" cake wreck.

                          Thanks in advance!

                            2. Two people who should know how to spell:
                              1. your tattoo artist
                              2. your cake decorator (though the evidence gets eaten so it's not that bad)

                              1. This is hysterical! "Histerikal" also? The misspellings are a riot....even more so seeing the price tag on the cake.

                                1. i think it is time for a belly laugh or two. so check out the "bucks" here: http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/2010/0...

OMG - bullet holes?!? That's insane! But the angel hair pasta makes it all better.
