I live down in culver city and have been craving a good buffalo burger recently. I could make it myself but i'd rather go out. I know that there is Josies has one made with Foie Gras but i'm not a fan of Foie Gras so i'll skip that one. I also heard that Surfas has them but the reviews of their burger aren't so hot, so i'm looking for some other places in or close to my area for a good burger dinner. Under 20 for the burger itself would be great.
re: Bob Brooks
I agree w/BB.
Billy's buffalo burger is cooked perfectly. On a nice fresh bun, with green leaf lettuce (not that iceberg crap, the polyester of vegetables, that most places use), tomato, onion (grilled or raw, I prefer raw) and a nice 1000 island-type dressing.
May not be worth a special trip (I believe it would be, if you're really jonesing for a good buffalo burger), but perhaps when you're in the 'hood!
I've had both the buffalo and beef burgers at Cafe Surfas and enjoyed them both. Not the best in this city but far from the worst and good enough to order again. The only bad part is that the cafe closes it's kitchen at 3 PM.

dude, just go to josie and ask them not to put the foie on it. its not really a huge lobe of it anyway.
the fries there are amazing too.
the buffalo burger at surfas wasn't that great to me.
