This may be a crazy question but can I find liver mush or liver pudding anywhere in Phoenix?

  1. Like a shipped-in version, such as Neese's?

That's what I would like to find but if there's a restaurant that serves it for breakfast, I'd go there to give it a try.

    2. Livermush same as scrapple? Love scrapple!

No, not the same. I wouldn't mind some scrapple either....

Can you tell me the difference between livermush and scrapple?

I've always understood that it was merely geography -- i.e., the South used the term "livermush" and the North used the term "scrapple".

I'm not sure what the difference is. I think scrapple has more in it. I always thought that livermush and liver pudding were the same thing but called which ever name depending on where you lived. Anyway, I've checked several supermarkets and even the cold section of the 99 cent store and haven't found any in Phoenix. I just love the expressions on the clerks faces when I ask if they sell liver pudding.

      2. Why don't we call it Liverscrapplemush and we can all have some with some over easy eggs and sourdough toast! Fried nice and crispy on the outside.
