Central Vermont lunch spot off 91N?

Driving up 91 North to Vermont this weekend, looking for a good place -- diner is FINE! -- to stop for a lunch break. Just want good plain food. Any ideas?

I has a wonderful lunch at Simon Pierce in Quechee, not too far off of 91. I was thinking "Vermont, cheese, I'm in the mood for quiche". They were serving it the day I went and it was very satisfying.

A little out of the way, but Long Trail Brewery & Pub (open 11-6 for food). We stopped here with the parents for a hearty snack/meal. The yaki (teri) wings were incredible. If they still have the double-weisse beer on tap, you should definitely try it.

Putney has a barbeque place that is pretty good, although I think it may only be open in the summer. There is also a diner in town that is pretty good. Food is very hearty, homemade soups, locally made pies, etc. Not fabulous, but good straightforward stuff.

Lots of good stuff in Hanover NH, home to Dartmouth. It is right after White River Junction.
