good food near the javitz center

anyone tell me some good spots togo to near the javits center for dinner--have a relative that is goin to be their for a tradeshow and will probably want togo eat around their after the show is over

      Osteria Gelsi, on the corner of 9th Av. & 38th St., serves excellent Pugliese-style Italian cuisine. Good service and attractive decor. It's very popular with attendees at Javitz events.

        Update: Osteria Gelsi is now Il Punto. Same menu.

        Every year, after the auto show at the Javitz I head to Cookshop, which is quite close. There's also Trestle on Tenth, Keens Steakhouse (one of the best) on 36th near 6th, and Co. Pizzeria
