Sunday supper

Does anyone know of any restaurants that offer special "supper" menus on Sunday?

The Publican (http://thepublicanrestaurant.com/) offers a Sunday supper. I haven't eaten there yet but Sunday dinner is family-style and the regular menu is not available. Looks like last week's dinner featured mussels, guinea hen, lamb, and banana pudding at $45 a head, with beer pairings availabile. It is also the one night of the week that Publican take reservations (a boon given how crazy it is to get in there) but I don't think the Sunday menu rivals the pork-heavy regular menu.

Huh? You can use Opentable.com to make reservations at the Publican any night of the week. For example, right now Opentable is showing openings for tables for two this evening at 7:00 or earlier, and at 8:30 or later.

You may be right -- I know that was the policy back in the Fall (I had reservations for a Sunday supper but had to bail at the last minute), but they may have changed since then.

Yeah, this is a recent change. Initially the Sunday Supper was the only thing you could make reservations for. They just started taking reservations for other nights of the week.

Not special menus, but there are quite a few places that offer three-course prix fixe dinner deals on Sundays. You can view the Metromix listing of restaurant deals for this Sunday at http://chicago.metromix.com/calendar/...
