Buffalo Fries

So, a friend (and fellow chowhounder Stuart LaFonda) just came back from Hoagie Haven in Princeton and reports that there is a delicacy there known as buffalo fries - fries covered in blue cheese and hot sauce. As soon as this was mentioned, I knew that I would have to post in a desperate effort to find this here in Manhattan. I know any place that does wings could probably throw this together, but I was hoping that there is a place that specializes in this. Please advise.

Never had them down here, but had them all the time when I lived up in Buffalo, where they were refered to as Buffalo Chips, were served strictly on waffle fries, and many places substituted the blue cheese with cheddar sauce and jalepeno slices. Good luck on your search!

You can definitely get waffle fries with cheddar and jalapeno at Crif Dogs.
