Looking for Chinese and Japanese cookbooks

If I could get some suggestions that be great, im looking for more home style type of cooking.

Japanese Cooking: A Simple Art , By Shizuo Tsuji is a classic. Though I must admit, I rarely cook from it (too intimidated to cook Japanese food at home, yet), reading it is very enlightening. There are lots of drawings for instructions and techniques.

A Simple Art is the classic Japanese cookbook in English. I would agree that it isn't the most accessible for home cooking. I have a couple of others with step by step photos that I use more.
