please clarify: Babbo and Casa Mono reservation policy
"We accept reservations one month to the calendar date in advance for our tables."
This means, for example, that if I had wanted to eat there on the 10th of Feb, on the 10th of Jan I should have made a reservation, right?
Does this go fro lunch as well?

goodhealthgourmet is right, although you'll have an easier time getting a reservation at Casa Mono close to the date you want to have dinner, and I've had luck getting a table there as a walk in.
Babbo doesn't serve lunch. From what I've read, you can walk in for lunch at Casa Mono w/o a problem.›2 Replies-

re: Lucia
The last time I called Casa Mono for a dinner reservation for about three weeks in advance, they only had un-desirable times left (5:30 and 10:30pm), but this was for a Friday night.
So for a weekend night at Casa Mono, I would advise calling one month in advance to the numerical date.

actually, what it means is that one month is the *farthest* in advance you can make a reservation - they won't accept them more than 4 weeks out. however, given how popular tables can be (or were before the economy tanked, anyway) at both of those places, it is wise to make your reservation sooner rather than later.
