I'll be staying the the Pompano Beach area for 3 months and would like to know where I can buy frozen tartlet shells. I searched in Publix last year and couldn't find any.

I'd love to make some Canadian Butter Tarts and Strawberry Tarts for my friends while I'm there.

Thanks

if you find any let me know, I can only find filo type shells for appetizers. Otherwise buy the ready made rolled pastry and a package of foil tart holders and cut your own.

All the Publix over on the west coasty certainly carry mini tart shells as well as filo shells and puff pastry shells. As the frozen foods manager to order them for you.

One trick I do is to make "crispy cups" by baking lighlty wonton or eggroll wrappers in mini or regular muffin tins. They bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes and get nice and crispy.
