I was wondering if Shop Rite delivers to N.Y.C or has anyone Ever tried it. I would do fresh direct but Shop rite is soooooooooooo much cheaper. PLEASE HELP.

Is there some reason to not call a store or restaurant and ask them if they deliver to your address? Since no one else lives at your address, no one else can give you a definitive answer.

because he's only 13 years old (per bryan) and probably didn't think of that. I think it's admirable that a 13 year old is ordering groceries and concerned with value.

Ok. bryannyc: call the store directly and ask them. It's the only way to get an answer that will definitely be accurate.

i hate to say it, but i really doubt that any grocery store in Jersey is going to deliver to the city...and if they do, the extra fees you'll have to pay will probably negate any cost savings. depending on what you're trying to order, you might want to check out these other sites to see if they're cheaper than FreshDirect:

      http://www.bigapplegrocer.net/Scripts/default.asp
      http://www.maxdelivery.com/nkz/exec/HomePage/Display;jsessionid=452B40B9B335AE2E8BC5266D4B3A7129
      http://www.yourgrocer.com/main_new.asp

if it's merely a matter of convenience because you want everything delivered instead of having to schlep it home yourself, pretty much any store in the city will deliver to Manhattan residents.
