MSP-Where to buy cheap lamb/goat meat with bones in

My Indian friends in Chicago always make their curries with lamb/goat meat that are cut up into cubes with the bones still attached. I personally think this type of meat taste much better than solid meat chunks. I've been to one middle eastern store and they have some frozen stuff. But $4 a pound is a little steep for my budget.

So I'm wondering if anyone knows of a cheaper source of this type of meat. Does not have to be Halal.

I've purchased goat from Dragon Star on Dale in Saint Paul. It's frozen, on the bone, and pretty cheap (I can't remember the price/pound off the top of my head, sorry). They are mainly an Asian grocery, but they also carry Hispanic and African grocery items.

I don't know what the prices are, but for a condensed shopping experience, you could try the 4 or so butchers on Central Ave NE. Holy Land and Cresent Moon have goat, mutton and lamb. There are also 3+ other Halal butchers between 17th and 25th on Central that we have not been to, but are busy on many occasions.

Cracked bones are great!

There are a slew of Halal groceries along Franklin between Uptown and Seward that may have something. It might also be worth calling Clancy's in Linden Hills.
