Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has ever been to the Pleasantville Inn in Oley, PA - near route 73/Pottstown? My in-laws are supposed to be taking us there for dinner this weekend. Their website is down so I can't look anything up about the place!

About three years ago, my wife and I were driving through the area on 73 and stopped for lunch, I think, there. The bar was crowded and no one was in the dining room. After waiting a few minutes in the dining area, we decided to go to the Yellow House Hotel -- much to my wife's relief. I've seen on CH that the Yelllow House is now closed. But, after driving along Covered Bridge Road, we ended up on Manatawny Road and passed the Inn on Manatawny. We haven't been back that way but we wanted to try the Inn on Manatawny if there were a next time. For your sake, I hope the food is good but keep the Inn on Manatawny as a backup. Sorry not to be positive -- but, as I said, the food might be good.

If I had to select from the three post above, I would pick The Yellow House Hotel, which is still in operation.
