Denver- Sausage Need

I can find plenty of good Mexican Chorizo... does anyone know of a place selling Spanish style Chorizo? Difference being Spanish Chorizo uses smoked peppers instead of raw ones and the meat (yes- it's sausage so I use the term loosely) is chopped rather than smoothly ground. Someone making a good Portuguese Liguica or even a spicy Merguez (Moroccoan?) would be acceptable substitues.

I have a Whole Foods nearby that has some passable stuff (sometimes having a good lamb-based Merguez) but would love to find something more authentico.

And.. I need this 411 quick! So drop what you're doing, make some phone calls, get back to me. Stat. Pronto. No Dilly Dallying. I want action, people.

Heh. e–bone, Urban Pantry on S. Broadway has some good sausages—you might want to check with them. Not made in house, and not cheap, but good stuff.

If you don't find any, there's always La Tienda...

TTMG- didn't know UP existed... I called them and they say they have the goods. Will head down and check it out. Thanks for the tip!
