looking for a lunch spot today that is not run of the mill

anyone know of a place that serves omakase style for lunch?

nenasse in white plains isnt open for lunch.

Don't know if you found anything yesterday, but next time you have the hankering . . . Ku in Greenwich (203.422.6310) does lunch, including omakase, tho lunch is M-F only. This is where the Japanese expats go to eat.

It's actually Koo and it's on Purdy - the street with Sunrise Pizza closer to the hand rolled bagel place. It's a small storefront so you can easily pass without noticing.

I don't know if Koo does a lunch omakase, but they are better than run of the mill Japanese.
