V-day: Tabla or Hearth

I currently have two reservations (after getting off of a waiting list) for Valentines day, one at Hearth and one at Tabla. I love Tabla but I have never been to Hearth and have been leaning in that direction, however, from all of the pictures on their website, it looks as though Hearth has communal tables. Can anyone confirm or deny this, or give their general opinions re: which to chose??

Never been to Tabla, but Hearth still ranks as my wife and my consensus choice for best meal we ever ate out, from start to finish. We usually don't eat in the price range, so when we do, it's nice to have a memorable meal, and Hearth provided...for V-day coincidentally.

No communal tables at Hearth. I'm a fan of both restaurants, Hearth would work well for V-day.

Ditto.

The tables at Hearth are on the large size (surprisingly spacious for Manhattan) and they have a few for parties of 6-8 people. From the web site's photo album, you can't really see any of the 2-tops, only the big tables, but I assure you, they are there.
