I'll be spending the weekend in Old Town next month and would like recs for places serving local and possibly organic food in the tourist zone. Thanks.

  1. Restaurant Eve, Vermillion, The Grill at The Morrison House.

    1. Will add Majestic and Jackson 20. I think Majestic uses local / organic (same owner as Restaurant Eve) and I can't say for Jackson 20. Both are good though.

      1. Welcome! See a slightly older thread with recommendations for Old Town:

As for organic food in Old Town, I like to pick up stuff from the Whole Foods market. Also, I think Le Pain Quotidien has organic food - I've eaten dinner there once and it was pretty good. I buy their bagettes A LOT....best bread in the area.

For a splurge, Restaurant Eve offers first-rate dishes and they really try to source locally, though I can't vouch that it's ALL organic. I still think their Lickity Split lunch menu is one of the best deals in Old Town, considering the quality of food they offer:
