My Brother's Birthday Dinner

I am looking for a place to take my brother out for dinner tonight that we have never been to. I was thinking of something similar to Tarbell's or Rancho Pinot style.... great food, local ingredients, and friendly/welcoming staff with plenty of good wine.

Anyone know of some newer or undiscovered places in the valley with that type of atmosphere?
