Does anyone know of a good happy hour spot between Suburban Street train station and Del Frisco's on 1426 Chestnut street close to Broad? We'll be on foot tomorrow night.

The Good Dog Bar, on 15th St. just south of Walnut.

Le Bar Lyonnais at Le Bec Fin - not exactly on the way, but not too far out of the way (Walnut between 15 & 16) and they have great happy hour specials

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I checked out Le Bar Lyonnais and they have some good specials. I'll also suggest the other places to the group.

my favorite spot in this area is the ritz carlton bar right on broad. it's not crowded, the martinis are strong as all get-out, the space is beautiful, the bartenders are pleasant, and the people that you do run into there are more often than not interesting characters (the people i met were local, not hotel guests). and there's something special about sipping a martini at a hotel bar in your own town.
for a more casual night, i enjoyed the beers at nodding head during an incredible rainstorm a few months ago.
what i would absolutely not ever recommend (from experience) is mexican post. and actually, twice now i've been burned by shoddy service over at sole food in the loews/PSFS. i love love love that hotel but i wish the bar service would step it up.

This is late, obviously, but Apothecary is close by and they have great cocktails and really good food.
