Lindt Chocolate Factory – Valentine’s Day on a Budget (pics + prices)

Found myself at Lindt Chocolate factory a couple of weeks ago when I was accompanying some dining companions on their bi-monthly stock-up on Lindt chocolates. Though I am not a fan of these chocolates (especially once I was introduced to Italian truffles a couple of years back, and recently restocked on some Slitti brand chocolates that should last me a few months), I found the prices at the factory to be excellent. At the time of my last visit, they were clearing out some holiday-themed chocolates at 70% off. For instance, they were selling chocolate reindeers (the typical Lindor bunnies during Easter, but with antlers instead of bunny ears) for about $1.62 an animal.

Is the factory any cheaper than the factory outlet stores? I went searching for the address of the factory before it was posted below, but search results also included outlets. Anyone know if the factory itself has even deeper discounts than the regular factory outlet stores?

great deals for sure.. Just make sure to check the expiration date!

I was at dixie mall and all of their chocolates were expired!

No need for west GTA hounds to feel left out, either. There's a Lindt outlet on Kennedy Road(west side) just south of the 407 in Mississauga, too.

I was at the Kennedy Rd. Lindt outlet last Saturday and they had some good deals for Valentine's Day (plus leftovers from Christmas). I was going to buy couverture but ended up buying assorted chocolates for the $1.99/100g (bought about $6.00 worth and it's all gone - haha - I kind of liked the Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark mini-bars and the Champagne truffles) and a 168g box of the Lindor Dark Chocolate Mint truffles for $2.62. Sometimes I just crave Lindt chocolates and love to get my fix there.
