Pizza Fusion North Miami

SarahChef Jan 28, 2009 04:54 PM

Saw the article in the Miami Herald about this Pizza place that was completely green, using Organic products and making interesting pizza's. What caught my eye was that they had GLUTEN FREE PIZZA. My husband has Celiac and so the idea that we could go to a restaurant for Pizza was so exciting. We went up there and the pizza was FANTASTIC. It was on the expensive side, but you are paying for the quality ingredients. My husband loved his pizza (he had the FOUDNERS PIZZA) which was pulled chicken, Kalamata Olives, Red Onions and Goat Cheese.

If you love the cheap pizza that you get at Dominos then this is probably not your type of place. However if you want a really good pizza and a great glass of wine then this is your place.

THe cutest thing, is that if you order it to be delivered....they deliver it in a Smart Car!

I've had the gluten-free pizza at their Fort Lauderdale store... was waiting for this one to open. It's so GREAT to be able to have GF pizza out!

BTW, I made GF gnocchi tonight... used this recipe:

and substituted potato flour (purchased at the asian market) for the regular flour -- came out absolutely light and tasty.

i was so happy to see this post. i'm in NJ, and there were no responses to the query that i posted - just last night, in fact - asking for feedback/opinions of the local Pizza Fusion franchise that opened here recently. assuming the quality is pretty consistent across locations, i'll have to try it out now!
