Balboa report

Last night I dined at Balboa Prime along with 3 friends. Great location and beautiful interior. I got the NY Strip with a cabernet sauce on the side. It was incredible. One of my friends had the same and he was blown away. He is a big steak eater and is not easily impressed. Other two friends had the Rib eye and eggplant parmigana. We shared sides of shitake mushrooms and creamed spinach. Dessert was creme brulee. Everything was excellent and we all left with happy stomachs. Memorable experience. We all can't wait to return and try the Kansas City bone-in filet.

They've since changed the name to just BOA. Haven't been in a few months. But in past trips have enjoyed it. Also note that they do a half-price wine promotion on Sundays.

Thanks for the assist WLA and Jaydee. The Grafton is a stunning hotel and the staff made us feel welcome inviting us to the lounge after we dined.
