Super Bowl - Pittsburgh and Iron City

I'm planning a super bowl party. Does anyone know of any local distributors that might sell Iron City or IC Light by the case?

I'm chilli'd out. I'm thinking Kielbasa and Halupkies.

Other regional thoughts?

I have a similar plan. The IC website says there's distributors in Chantilly and in NE, so I was gonna try the one in NE.

I'm making Roethlisburgers and "O"-style fries, yinz.

Good Libations in Shaw (1201 5th St NW) had Iron City in stock a few weeks back (right after the stillers won AFC game). Dunno if they still have it (since I bought a couple of cases myself)

Another good Pittsburgh sandwich is shaved ham (really good warm with BBQ sauce)

The Perfect Pour in Columbia was advertising that they expect to be restocked with Iron City by Friday after 5pm. I expect that it'll be in pretty heavy demand wherever it's sold.

Maybe "Pittsburgh" some steaks? IIRC, the definition I've heard is that a steak done "Pittsburgh" style is heavily charred on the outside and rare on the inside, presumably by cooking for a short time using extremely high heat. You may need to do further research - I've only heard the reference, and have no direct knowledge of the subject.

Or steak salad with potatoes and blue cheese dressing, I think the potatoes in salad are a definite Pittsburgh native thing. Of course my all-time favorite Pittsburgh delicacy is the veal parmigiana sandwich I know it wasn't necessarily invented in Pittsburgh, and that other places have it, but they make the best in my mind.

You aren't from Pittsburgh are you? Because fries go on sandwiches, maybe on a salad, but potatoes like the size of what you would normally roast go in salads with steak, not just fries. I think the major love of potatoes with or on anything is a Pittsburgh thing really.

Get two iron skillets extremely hot. Put steak in one, put the second on top and press down a bit. Doesn't take too long, then remove.
