good and cheap on the UES

I'm looking for a place to meet a friend for dinner around Lennox Hill next week. While I am looking for a real restaurant with table service, I am hoping not to spend an arm and a leg. I don't get up to the UES much, so if you can recommend something special and unique to the neighborhood, I would greatly appreciate it. Great cocktails and/or affordable winelist would be a plus.
