  1. if I'm feeling masochistic, I order the "chef's secret recipe vulcano" with chicken, very spicy, and a side of naan stuffed with coconut paste and raisins to cool it down. the first time I tried t his dish, as I was sweating and tearing up and downing gallons of water, the waiter came by and told me he had put in the order as a 1 on a spice scale of 1 to 10! The owners may be from Pakistan or Kashmir, as evidenced by the "Balti" section of the menu, which I believe is a one-dish meal popularized by Pakistani/ Kashmiri cooks in England.

keep in mind that i have a pretty legendary tolerance for heat, too. eating fresh habeneros out of hand for kicks legendary. you are warned!

the vindaloo was solid last time, and my SO loved the veggie korma. try the coconut naan if you get anything spicy, the sweet/spice combination is great. I haven't had any of the Balti dinners yet so I can advise on them, I'm getting that next...
