What to get at Agra Indian Kitchen(Venice)
Never been. Whats good? Anybody try the "volcano" curry? I noticed they have beef as well? Is it Pakistani/Bengali owned? Any haleem or paya thats off the menu?
if I'm feeling masochistic, I order the "chef's secret recipe vulcano" with chicken, very spicy, and a side of naan stuffed with coconut paste and raisins to cool it down. the first time I tried t his dish, as I was sweating and tearing up and downing gallons of water, the waiter came by and told me he had put in the order as a 1 on a spice scale of 1 to 10! The owners may be from Pakistan or Kashmir, as evidenced by the "Balti" section of the menu, which I believe is a one-dish meal popularized by Pakistani/ Kashmiri cooks in England.
