I've been back since they changed owners. (We had taken it "off our list' after several bad experiences). It was EXCELLENT. I have an onglet steak, and took half home. It was heavenly. I don't remember what ever yone else ordered, i was so involved with my steak.

Thanks for the feedback, With a review like that, I must try it out. I just love a good steak, especially from a local establishment. I will wait for Berel's comments as well.

You can't miss with the onglet, I have been enjoying it for years now and new managament is not going to change that.

Good question, when I go to Bistro Grill I always order their Delmonico because it is so soft.

I'm afraid to go back, and also afraid to read everyone else's reviews just in case it all goes south.
The onglet is quite soft and boneless. I really don't know my steak cuts, but i remember having onglet in the past and loving it. so i tried again.

we'll probably order a onglet and another main course and split it. this way if it's to tough for my wife I'll eat the onglet

we had the meal mart frozen rib eye steaks from the Publix when we were in Orlando, my wife loved it. I'll have to look for Rib eye in 5 towns for her

seems the onglet is not a regular menu item and they didn't have it tonight. I ended up with the Delmonico steak, which was soft, delicious and had a nice sino sauce cooked on it. the Mrs. got the mixed Jerusalem grill.

Is the Delmonico a regular menu item? That is my favorite steak. One of my frustrations with Prime Grill is that they only have it one a week, on Tuesday I think. I don't go to the city on Tuesday nights, just Sat or Sun nights. Bistro Grill in Woodmere has it as regular menu item so I usually go there for it. Out of curiousity how much is the Delminico, I think Bistro charged ~$55 for it.

I will go to Off The Grill the week of 2/9-2/14 they will be giving 10% of proceeds to Chai Lifeline, my favorite charity.

Went there tonight; I had the Delmonico and the Mrs. went for the rib steak. Quite satisfied, nice soft and done just right. Bistro Grill's Delmonico is thicker bigger (and more expensive). I now have two local choices for a Delmonico. Felt good that $10 went to Chai Lifeline.

By the way, I just received this email today from the Pasta Factory in Teaneck, NJ:

                    Wagyu Just For You
                    Greetings!
As many of you know The Pasta Factory is now featuring an outstanding selection of meats. In line with that we can now offer you the finest meat available, Wagyu Beef, also commonly known as Kobe Beef.

                    wagyu

Wagyu (pronounced Wah Gyoo) Beef is characterized by an unusually rich flavor and high marbling that allows it to melt in your mouth. It is also considered all natural in that the cattle are not fed growth hormones or other additives to increase their size but instead ranch raised and fed whole natural grains. This healthy lifestyle creates a meat that is simply unrivaled and featured only in the finest restaurants in the world.

Our Wagyu is from Strube Ranch in Texas
(see link to the Strube Ranch website for more information about their beef and how it is raised: http://struberanch.com/index_old.html).

At restaurants in NYC, for example the well known 4 star restaurant Craft Steak, chef Tom Colicchio - host and mentor of the hit Bravo cable TV show "Top Chef", sells a 12 oz Strube Ranch Ribeye for $102 and a 22 oz for $130.

We are offering Glatt kosher Strube Ranch Wagyu Rib Eye in a 16oz cut for only $75 - but will only be available this Sunday, February 15th and Monday, February 16th.

Our chef Dave Dewhirst is preparing the Wagyu steak as follows:
Grilled 16 oz Wagyu Rib Eye with Roasted Yukon Gold potato hash, haricots verts almondine, with a Red Burgundy reduction.

Very simply put you will not find a better cut of beef nor at a better price. We do recommend reserving your table in advance and letting us know if you will be ordering the Wagyu Ribeye as we have a limited supply.

We look forward to seeing you at The Pasta Factory!

                    Reservations are always advised.

                    Sincerely,

                    David Zimand
