Congee Noodle House (Van)

Just curious if it's finally finished the "renovations" and re-opened. Anyone know what the scoop is?

Drove by last night, and the windows are still covered up. Their answering machine still says that they are "expecting to open in early January." If you want to check periodically, their number is 604-879-8221.

The owners of Congee Noodle House does have another location on Kingsways by Joyce. Can't remember the name in english as it's differ but the chinese name is the same. You'll recognize the restaurant by the awning. I've been to the Kingsway location a couple of times last year but it's not as good as the one on Broadway.

I drove by a few times now, but have not peered between the newspapers on the window into to have a closer look. From the street, I see no renovations going on...but I could be wrong.
