Is anyone a member of David Rosengarten's Fresh-pressed Olive Oil club?

I had heard about this club some time ago, and recently started to look back into it. It's not cheap ($100 per quarter for 3 500ml bottles), but neither is good olive oil.

In looking into things I came across 2 sites:

http://www.kci-com.com/lp/rr/oliveoil/oliveads.asp?

http://www.kci-com.com/lp/rr/oliveoil...

They seem to be identical, but differ in the name of the olive oil consultant (Judy Ridgway in one, Nancy Loeske in the other). The text is nearly identical in each. I find this a bit strange.

I was wondering if there's anything funny going on here. I'm trying not to be overly skeptical, but $400 a year for olive oil is significant. Is anyone currently a member of this club?

I've been a member for 3 or 4 years as well and love it. I get the 250ml bottles and it pretty much handles our olive oil needs for a year.

I'm a huge fan, and have done this for years.

yes I am - it is now "fresh pressed olive oil' freshpressedoliveoil.com - I have been a member for over 3 years and very pleased - I get the smaller bottles every quarter of wonderful different olive oils from many different regions - try it - this is a bit late since your first posting but I just happen to come cross it.

Not sure of the club, but I can address the similar ad pages on the two links you mention.

It looks like you found two different people who are promoting the David Rosengarten's Fresh-pressed Olive Oil club. They are probably dealers/affiliates and are using similar/identical marketing material either provided by David Rosengarten or written by one of them and copied by the other.

If you want to join the club, pick the person/site you found first and buy through them, giving them the credit for catching your eye.
