Best Indian buffet in Manhattan?

Most Indian lunch buffets are disappointing, but this need not be so. Gaylord in Chicago, for instance, is top notch. I have found nothing in Manhattan even close, including Chola which is OK. Can anybody suggest a really excellent Indian lunch buffet? I am thinking North Indian, but also love South Indian veg.

There is little in Manhattan that can rival the Indian food on Devon, but there are some bright spots. There is plenty of Southern Indian here, Tiffin Wallah being a particularly good lunch option. For Northern Indian, the buffet at Earthen Oven is also a good bet.

I second Tiffin Wallah. It's particularly a good Indian Buffet for its value. It's only $6, and the food is quality vegan/vegetarian south indian. Options change every day. It can get a little busy at times but never too frightful.
