Large Birthday party?

I have looked through the recent threads on places people have been with larger groups and haven't found too many place that can accommodate my size. I am looking for a place like East Coast Grill's Lava Lounge that can hold between 25 to 40 people on a Saturday night. It is my wife's 30th birthday and I want to do something fun for everyone. Price range 35 to 50/person. All suggestions are welcome.

Thank you ahead for all the posts.

We celebrated my 30th birthday at Excelsior, the front bar. They reserved tables for us, and there was no additional fees. People just bought their drinks from the waitress and it was wonderful. They let me bring a cake and cut it for me- the bar wasn't too crowded on a Saturday, it was a very cool ambiance and I had like 30 people there.
We had done a small dinner elsewhere, so people who couldn't afford dinner could still be there for the party.
    Enjoy!!

A friend did something like this at Locke Ober's bar last year. Altho that crowd was mostly just drinking with some appetizers ordered. It was fun.

A lot of bars/restaurants have private rooms that you can either reserve or rent out, depending on the place and the size of your group. Some places will even throw in extra servers, food, etc. I'd suggest that you call up some of the places you might be interested in, and ask what they can offer you for the night that you're interested in, with the number of people you expect. Saturday night may be harder to book than other nights of the week, but give it a try! Good luck.
