Walden Farms?

Hey I am kind of a diet conscious chowhound... I was wondering if anyone knows where to buy Walden Farms jam other than lowcarbgrocery.com and the Loblaws at Victoria Park and Gerrard? The former charges $$$$ and the latter is really out of the way!!

Thanks

I am looking for Walden Farms products in the Barrie area; has anyone seen them in the grocery stores/health food stores in my area?

if your looking is a lower carb option then you should check out the Renee offerings, their blue cheese dressing is very good.

Unfortunately I purchased the blue cheese dressing just last week at the Foodland/IGA in the Beaches...TERRIBLE!

They had all of the dressings and the BBQ sauce.

They are VERY hit-and-miss. As should be expected from something that's supposedly calorie-free. I remember having some dressing of theirs I liked, but I don't remember which one. Ranch, maybe?

Just out of curiosity, what is in these things? How can a fruit spread be calorie free? Does it actually contain fruit? I'm just asking because their website doesn't contain ingredient lists.

I have seen them in IGA in the Danforth, Metro at Vic Park and Danforth, I think I saw them at the Loblaws at lower Jarvis. But honestly.. they are bad.

You could try health food stores. I have seen them in health food stores here in Manitoba. They have all that is available on their website and maybe if you contacted them, you could have them they could give you a store near you that carries them. I haven't tried their actual salad dressing but have tried the coleslaw mix and many of their products. I love them. Their syrups are great if you want to buy plain whey protein powder and then make your own flavor. Use them all the time. Sure beats having nothing for a treat. Last night I mixed a bit of the marshmallow spread with a bit of the pancake syrup, stirred it and dipped apple in it.

I have seen some of them at IGA on the danforth. Of what I have tried, heres what is acceptable:
                  Jams
                  Caramel and chocolate dips
                  chocolate sauce
syrup ( the best thing they sell)

                  Terrible:
the dressings, kind of make me feel sick just thinking about them
Peanut butter.. doesnt taste bad, just not like PB
                  Scampi sauce
                  Onion dip

If you try anything else, let us know!

The Bruschetta is not bad but I would have to agree with you on the dressings.. they are brutal! The Pancake syrup is AMAZING I bought 20 bottles when they were on sale at Loblaws for $1
The BBQ sauce is also horrible, stay away!!
Sometimes I put the Walden Farms alfredo sauce on my noodles and its pretty good with some cracked pepper on top.

Not sure if this is too far for you, but I happened to see Walden Farms products at the Metro in Richmond Hill (Bayview Ave / Major Mackenzie) just last night! I had never seen their products before and thought they were interesting being health conscious and all.

Where in the city are you located? The Loblaws at Bathurst and St. Clair has a lot of Walden Farms products as does the No Frills at Bathurst and Wilson.

Hey veggie girl, I am at Queen and University. Bathurst and St Clair is pretty close!! Thanks a lot =) My neighbourhood is kind of brutal for groceries.

The jams are delicious for being zero calorie... also the chocolate and marshmallow dip is a sinless way to dip berries in

The Forest Hill Loblaws has Walden Farms products in the Kosher aisle. I don't know if they have those specific products there but they definitely have the salad dressings and BBQ sauce.
I think I saw the jams and dip at the No Frills at Bathurst & WIlson.

Lawrence Square Fortinos had the peanut abomination, and I think a few jammy items. Never again!
